About
Ariel M. Harris is an Estate Planning Attorney at Crain & Wooley, where she helps families build legacies through wills, trusts, and other estate planning services. Her passion for estate planning began in law school as an Elder Law Student Attorney and continued through her own private practice, where she focused on estate planning, fiduciary litigation, and guardianship. She has also served as a Court Appointed Attorney in the Harris and Fort Bend Counties and volunteered with Houston Volunteer Lawyers.
Ariel views estate planning as both a profession and a purpose as she aims to empower individuals across all backgrounds to create generational wealth and protect their loved ones. Guided by Proverbs 13:22, she approaches each case with compassion and a commitment to helping clients leave a lasting legacy.
Ariel earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She holds CALI Awards in Family Law, Constitutional Law, and Commercial Paper and served as a teaching assistant and law review liaison. She also holds a Bachelor’s in History and Ethnic Studies with distinction from Cornell College, where she completed an honors thesis and was a Triggs International Fellow.
