Xiaoming Hu

Xiaoming brings a strong foundation in both law and tax to her role as a Junior Associate at our firm. She earned her J.D. from Cooley Law School in Michigan, a Master of Professional Accountancy from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Before entering private practice, Xiaoming built extensive experience in tax law and compliance. She most recently served as an Estate and Gift Tax Law Specialist at the Internal Revenue Service, where she gained valuable insight into the complexities of federal tax regulations. Prior to that, she worked as a Tax Senior at Ernst & Young and as a Tax Analyst at Thomson Reuters, where she advised clients and organizations on tax strategy and reporting.

Xiaoming is drawn to estate planning because of its vital role in wealth strategy. She believes estate planning should integrate seamlessly with wealth management, retirement planning, and legacy building. Her goal is to help clients navigate this critical process with confidence and clarity, empowering them to make informed decisions for their families and future.
